Endo/Gynecology Diploma By Egyptian & German Societies
General Outlines
Duration
- one academic year (not less than 42 weeks)
- Three Equal modules each 4 months (Module 1 , Module 2 & Module 3)
Attendance
- Module 1 & Module 2: Delivered once weekly, alternating between: On-site sessions in Egypt (one week). Online sessions from Germany (following week)
- Module 3: Completed either: During a 2-week training period in Germany or Through supervised training with an accredited MISSE representative to complete the logbook requirements.
Attendance and Exam Eligibility
- Module 1 & 2: Minimum 80% attendance required to be eligible for the exam.
- Module 3: If completed in Germany: Full attendance is mandatory. If completed in Egypt: Completion of the full logbook is required
Candidate Eligibility Criteria
- Specialty: Only Obstetricians/Gynecologists are eligible (no other specialties).
- Professional Level: Must be a Specialist or Consultant. Residents are not eligible.
- Qualifications : Must hold a recognized OB/GYN postgraduate certificate from an accredited university (Clinical Diploma, Master’s Degree, or MD).
- Registration: Must be registered with the Egyptian Medical Syndicate or hold an equivalent registration abroad.
Place Of Training
- Module 1 & 2 : On site Misse, Cairo, Egypt. Online: Live sessions .
- Module 3 : If completed in Egypt: Training will take place at the hospitals affiliated with MISSE representatives. If completed in Germany: Training will be conducted at designated university hospitals in Germany.

- Module 1 : 74 hours
- Module 2 : 102 hours
- Module 3 : 124 hours

- PASS : 80%
Module 2
- 120 marks (MCQs & SAQs)
- PASS : 80%
Module 3
- 290 marks
- 240 MCQs & SAQs PASS : 80%
- + 50 practical
- LASTT, HYSTT, SUTT : pass or fail
